ADHD Assessments for Children & Young People (Ages 6–16yrs)
Helping Your Child Reach Their Full Potential Through Understanding and Support
£995 | Free Pre-Screening Included | Face-to-Face Appointments Available
If your child is experiencing difficulties with attention, concentration, impulsivity, hyperactivity, emotional regulation, or organisation, an ADHD assessment can provide valuable insight into their needs and help unlock the right support.
Our comprehensive ADHD assessment is delivered by experienced clinicians and conducted in line with NICE guidelines. Using recognised assessment tools and information gathered from both home and school environments, we provide a thorough, evidence-based evaluation to help families better understand their child's strengths, challenges, and support needs.
We take a compassionate, family-centred approach, ensuring both parents and young people feel supported throughout the assessment process.
What's Included?
Free Pre-Screening
Begin your journey with a complimentary screening process. Parents and relevant professionals complete questionnaires designed to identify whether a full ADHD assessment may be appropriate.
Face-to-Face QbCheck Assessment
Your child will complete a QbCheck, a standardised computer-based assessment that objectively measures attention, impulsivity, and activity levels.
Face-to-face appointments are available, with online assessments considered in exceptional circumstances where clinically appropriate.
Comprehensive Parent Interview (DIVA)
Conducted online or face-to-face, this detailed clinical interview explores your child's developmental history, current presentation, and the impact of ADHD symptoms across different areas of life.
School Input and Observations
ADHD affects children across multiple settings, so gaining information from school is an important part of the assessment process. We may request feedback from teachers and, where appropriate, arrange a school observation to develop a complete understanding of your child's needs.
After the Assessment
Personalised Feedback Session
Following the assessment, you'll receive a feedback appointment with one of our specialists to discuss the outcome, answer any questions, and explore recommendations tailored to your child.
Comprehensive Diagnostic Report
If a diagnosis is made, you will receive a detailed report that includes:
-
Clear explanation of the assessment findings
-
Diagnostic outcome and clinical recommendations
-
Personalised support and intervention plan
-
Practical strategies for home and school
-
Diagnosis explanation letter for your child
-
Post-diagnostic support and advice booklet
-
Recommendations for educational support and reasonable adjustments where appropriate
-
Optional Follow-Up Appointment
Additional follow-up appointments are available to provide ongoing guidance, discuss support options, and help parents feel confident in supporting their child moving forward.

Supporting Your Child's Success
An ADHD assessment is about more than receiving a diagnosis. It can provide clarity, understanding, and a roadmap for accessing the right support to help your child thrive both academically and emotionally.
By understanding how your child learns, thinks, and experiences the world, families and schools can work together to create an environment where they can succeed and reach their full potential.
Important Information
Please note that acceptance of private ADHD assessments varies between NHS Trusts and GP practices. Each NHS organisation reserves the right to determine which independent assessments and diagnoses it recognises for treatment, prescribing, and shared-care arrangements.
We recommend discussing local policies with your GP if you are considering NHS-supported treatment following a private assessment.
