Meet the Team

Andrea Phelps-Brown
,MA (Ed) Leadership and Management Director | Autism & ADHD Specialist | SEND Consultant
With over 30 years of experience in education and 12 years as a SENCO and Inclusion Lead, I specialize in autism and ADHD assessments, SEND consultancy, and inclusive education strategies. As a passionate advocate for neurodivergent individuals, my journey is deeply personal—being a mother to two incredible neurodivergent daughters has shaped my understanding and commitment to creating inclusive environments where every child can thrive, bringing both professional expertise and personal understanding to every aspect of my work.
I am an ADOS-2 trained autism assessor and QbCheck trained for ADHD screening with extensive experience supporting children and young people with additional needs across mainstream and specialist settings. My work spans roles as a SEND Consultant for local authorities, tutor and QTS assessor, and partner tutor for the NASENCO qualification with Manchester Metropolitan University, helping educators develop the skills to support diverse learners.
My passion for autism assessment began when my youngest daughter was diagnosed, inspiring me to use my expertise to empower families and professionals in navigating the education system. I have also worked within the NHS as an Autism Pathway Practitioner and have recently completed certifications in Autism and ADHD Coaching to provide holistic support, empowering individuals and families to navigate challenges and thrive.
Whether through assessments, consultancy, or coaching, my mission is to ensure inclusive environments where neurodivergent individuals are understood, valued, and supported to reach their full potential.
Whether you need an assessment, coaching, or expert SEND advice, I am here to help.
